Was at Boone, IA for the Prelude to the Nationals Saturday night. 322 cars entered. Started at 5pm and over before Midnight. Heat races, B Features, and A Features for each class. That included farming the track in between heats and B's and farming before the A Features.
Very well run show.
Modified guys like Thornton Jr. and Strickler get a lot of press and people calling for them to get latemodel rides. What about Grabowski out of Nebraska?
He will win his 3rd National Championship in the IMCA mods this year, as well as the first to win the Stock Car IMCA National Championship in the same year.
This is the guy that people should be looking at putting into their latemodel.
Eagle Raceway, in Nebraska. IMCA Racesaver Sprint Car Nationals opening night last night had 103 sprint cars on hand. Some really good racing around the bullring.
